Inanna/Ishtar is dangerous, bodily, beautiful, and older than YHWH’s order. Her symbolic meanings survive in fragments, false masks, coven practice, and the denied side of the world.
Function
Section titled “Function”Her fragment inside Lilitu gives Ninsi access to magic. At the inverted Mount of Temptation, she offers Ninsi mystery embodied in the Moon; Ninsi accepts and consciously begins apotheosis.
