The eastern threshold is the remaining ascent through Bethany, the Mount of Olives, and the Kidron or Valley of Jehoshaphat before entry into Jerusalem.
Function
Section titled “Function”This region carries the consequences of accepting apotheosis and drawing down the Moon. It is the natural place for Ninsi to identify the voice as YHWH before confronting him directly.
